We do not represent or warrant that the Site will be available and meet your requirements, that access will be uninterrupted, that there will be no delays, failures, errors or omissions or loss of transmitted information, that no viruses or other contaminating or destructive properties will be transmitted or that no damage will occur to your computer system. You have sole responsibility for adequate protection and back up of data and/or equipment and for undertaking reasonable and appropriate precautions to scan for computer viruses or other destructive properties.
We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, functionality or performance of any third party software that may be used in connection with the Site.

 |  |  |  |  | Data Protection  |  | We may as a result of your interaction with the Site hold and process personal information obtained about you when you access the Site and use it for the Association, its members and associated organisations and servicing our relationship with you, to conduct our business and to provide you with better customer services and products from both within the Association, it’s members and associate organisations and those of selected third parties, to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing of the Site and for statistical analysis. We may pass this information to other members of the Association, it’s members and associated organisations or agents, as permitted by law so that they may do the same and they may pass information held by them about you to us so that we may do the same. We will not disclose any such information outside of the Association, it’s members and associated organisations unless required/obliged by law or Governmental or judicial bodies or agencies or to our regulators under proper authority, or under a strict code of secrecy to sub-contractors or persons acting as our agents or where we have your consent or have previously informed you.
We may also in connection with the above and the provision of the Site transfer your personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), which may not provide the same level of protection for personal data as within the EEA. However, all personal data wherever it is held the Association it’s members and associated organisations or by its sub-contractors or agents will be afforded a high level of protection against any authorised or accidental disclosure, access or deletion. By agreeing to these Terms you agree to such data being so used and that it may be transmitted to others as stated above.

- Members will be issued with a Swimfit membership card
- In the event that a membership card is stolen the member should report this to Swimfit Membership Services, 62 Brandon Parade, Holly Walk, Royal Leamington Spa CV32 4JE immediately in writing to the address appearing above or by e-mail to customerservices@swimming.org
- A member shall be entitled, upon presentation of his membership card, to half price spectator admission to events organised by the Association and British Swimming.
- Duplicate membership cards (where lost) are available at a cost of £2.00 (including postage). Please make cheques payable to the Amateur Swimming Association.
- Membership and membership cards are personal to the member and are not transferable and shall not be transferred under any circumstances. All membership cards remain the property of the Association, the member being the authorised bailee of the Association in respect of the same and entitle to the benefits conferred by them subject to the terms and conditions.
- The Association reserves the right to suspend the use of the relevant membership and membership card of a member and all associated benefits for a period of time or to withdraw its use in the event of misuse in any way or in the event of a breach of any of these terms and conditions of membership and regulations referred to or in the event of any abusive or other unacceptable behaviour by the member, or if the member is subject to any police investigation, charge or conviction relating to any offence as referred to in ASA Law 305.
- The Association reserves the right to refuse any application for membership.
- If the remittance tendered in payment of membership shall be dishonoured or in any other way refused (other than by the Association), the relevant member shall be liable to pay the Association's administrative charge, which the Association may inform the member in writing from time to time, and any bank or other similar charge incurred by the Association as a result, and such membership shall be immediately withdrawn.
- The Association shall not have any liability to the registered member in respect of any failure to carry out or delay in carrying out any of its obligations under these terms and conditions.
- The Association reserves the right to substitute any of the items associated with membership. Where this occurs, the substitute items will be of at least the same value as those substituted. There is a 14 day money back guarantee period applicable to all members upon receipt of their membership packs. The refund applies where membership packs are returned in a satisfactory condition within 14 days of receipt.
- Membership is valid for one year from the date of joining.
- For security reasons payment will be processed on receipt. Membership packs will be despatched within 28 days of successful application.
- Members will be entitled to such additional benefits of membership as may be notified to them from time to time.
